The Honors Licensure Track Qualify for the Advanced Physics Curriculum
At the Florida Driving Academy, we do not waste expensive car time teaching basic traffic laws. The Honors Licensure Track is designed for the motivated teen who treats driving as a serious academic discipline.
The "Gatekeeper" Protocol To enroll, the student must pass our comprehensive 100-Question Entrance Exam with a score of 90% or higher. Unlimited retakes are allowed—we reward grit and mastery, not just natural ability.
The "Scholar-Driver" Workflow Unlike our Mentorship program where we teach the law in the car, this track requires independent study. We treat the student like a college freshman:
- Study at Home (Prep): Before every session, the student must read the specific Session Syllabus to understand the physics and legal concepts they are about to practice.
- Drive (Lab): The student arrives for their 90-minute driving session fully prepared, allowing the Instructor to focus 100% on Survival Physics and Vehicle Dynamics.
- Test Online (Reinforcement): After the drive, the student must complete the Session Knowledge Test at home. This reinforces the lesson and ensures long-term retention of the material.
Tiered Certification We measure competence, not just attendance. Your final Academy Certificate is determined by your average score across all knowledge tests. This is a permanent record of your discipline and aptitude.
- Certificate of Excellence: 100% Average.
- Certificate of Achievement: 80% – 99% Average.
- Certificate of Completion: <80% Average.
Is this track right for you?
- YES if your teen is self-disciplined, motivated by academic achievement, and wants to maximize their time driving.
- NO if your teen struggles with independent study or requires in-car mentorship to master the traffic laws (see our Basics Level Curriculum Program).
